HOW TO USE OPAC

You have several options through which you can enter the database. Click the downward arrow in searching box. You will get the options, e.g. Author, Title, Subject so on. Select your required one and press the enter key or click “Go”.

Then in the box type the name of subject you want to search.

You will find the catalogue of all the books on Education. Now if you want to know the books on Education by any particular author then go to advanced search. There you will get options to relate different keywords e.g. Author and subject, Title and subject so on.

The college has a library with a spacious reading room. It contains about 8000 books including textbooks, reference books, journals, magazines, news papers etc. Our 24*7 online library system & information services available in Web-based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEBOPAC). The ultimate goal of this Web-based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEB-OPAC) is to enable patrons to browse library collection online beyond the physical boundary of the college. The college library rules are framed in keeping with University Library Rules and books are catalogued as Dewy Decimal Classification System. Computerization of the college library has been done with "Koha Integrated Library Management System" on B2H2 cloud with the helps of B2H2 Solutions, Morigaon: Assam.
